“We were making some good progress with our No. 08 Core Development Group | EAT SLEEP RACE Chevrolet Camaro but things deteriorated quickly.
“We got hit while trying to avoid an accident and while the SS GreenLight Racing team did a good job bouncing back from that, we later had a fuel-pickup issue that put us in a hole that we couldn’t recover.
“We’ll keep fighting though and hope that Phoenix is kinder to us and we can leave the West Coast Swing on a positive note.”
