NASCAR Xfinity Series | SS GreenLight Racing adjusts personnel ahead of Atlanta Motor Speedway

SS Green Light Racing was founded by and is operated by Bobby Dotter, a second-generation driver who began his racing career as a teenager in the Chicago, IL area.

MOORESVILLE, N.C.: SS GreenLight Racing announced today that the team has made a series of personnel adjustments on their No. 07 Chevrolet team driven by Joe Graf Jr. ahead of Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway.

Effective immediately, Joe Williams will assume the role as crew chief of the No. 07 Z Grills Chevrolet Camaro. Williams joins SSGLR after a tenure at Our Motorsports this season.

In addition to Williams, the Mooresville, N.C.-based team has named Danny Johnson as car chief for Graf’s team also effective immediately.

The new additions give the team confidence a boost in performance is forthcoming.

“We feel very confident about these changes for the No. 07 team and Joe Graf Jr.,” said team owner Bobby Dotter. “We have had a tough first half of the season, but we are hopeful that these changes will prove to beneficial to our overall program.”

Graf, a former winner in the ARCA Menards Series is also equally looking forward to working with his newest team members.

“I have a positive outlook on the second half of the season even though the results were not what we were hoping for to start the year,” added Graf. “I will continue to work hard and give everything both on and off the track to enhance the overall presence and performance of our team and partners for the rest of the 2021 season.”

Graf, 22, will make his third career start at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway in Saturday afternoon’s Credit Karma Money 250.
